ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An improved herbicidal composition is provided which comprises from 50 to 65% of trifluralin, from 6 to 12% of emulsifier, from 0.1 to 10% of a low volatility oil, and from 0.1 to 1% of oil soluble dye, with the balance being a solvent. The presence of the low volatility oil reduces loss of the active substance during use, as a result of which lower application rates can be employed. The composition exhibits improved effectiveness in the control of normally resistant weeds.
