IN THE UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE HERBICIDE COMPOSITIONS Abstract of the Disclosure Herbicidal active sulfoxide and sulfone compounds are described herein. The compounds have the following generic formula: Image wherein n is 1 or 2; R is selected from the group consisting of halophenyl, phenalkyl, substituted phenalkyl, wherein said substituents can be selected from halogen and haloalkyl; R1 and R2 can be the same or different and can be selected from the group consisting of lower alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkynyl and benzyl.
