A hermetically sealed package, for example a freezable, microwavable package containing a food product, having a sealing film that includes a vent system that is scored by a laser into the package. The vent system includes at least one linear or non-linear vent pattern scored into a portion of the outer surface of the sealing film so as to form at least one weakened wall pattern. According to certain embodiments, the vent pattern may be scored by a laser to a depth that does not perforate the sealing film. The inner surface of the sealing film that is adjacent to the weakened wall pattern is directly exposed to pressure that is generated in the inner region of the package during heating. According to some embodiments, the vent pattern may have a vent pattern span that is approximately 1% to 50% of the size of the inner region span.
L'invention concerne un emballage hermétiquement scellé, par exemple un emballage utilisable dans un congélateur ou un four à micro-ondes et contenant un produit alimentaire, muni dun film de scellage comprenant un système dévents entaillé au laser dans lemballage. Le système dévents comprend au moins un motif linéaire ou non linéaire dévents entaillé dans une partie de la surface extérieure du film de scellage de façon à former au moins un motif daffaiblissement de la paroi. Selon certains modes de réalisation, le motif dévents peut être entaillé par un laser jusquà une profondeur qui ne perfore pas le film de scellage. La surface intérieure du film de scellage qui est adjacente au motif daffaiblissement de la paroi est directement exposée à la pression générée dans la région intérieure de lemballage pendant le chauffage. Selon certains modes de réalisation, le motif dévents peut présenter une étendue valant approximativement 1 % à 50 % de létendue de la région intérieure.
