A hernia repair patch (10) comprising a wire frame of a pair of overlapping v- shaped wire segments (12, 14) attached to a prosthetic fabric material (20). The vertices (18) of the v-shaped wire segments (12, 14) are disposed in opposite directions. The wire segments (12, 14) further include attached points (16) at free ends thereof. Said wire frame supporting the prosthetic fabric material may be formed of Nitinol or other suitable shape memory alloy.
La présente invention concerne une pièce de réparation des hernies (10) comportant un cadre en fil métallique d'une paire de segments de fils métalliques en V se chevauchant (12, 14) fixé à un matériau de tissu prothétique (20). Les sommets (18) des segments de fils en V (12, 14) sont disposés en sens opposés. Les segments de fil (12, 14) comportent également des points attachés (16) aux extrémités libres de ceux-ci. Ledit cadre en fil métallique supportant le matériau de tissu prothétique peut être réalisé en nitinol ou tout autre alliage à mémoire de forme approprié.
