The invention relates to compounds of formula (I) : wherein hetaryl I is formula (II); hetaryl II is formula (III); or to pharmaceutically active acid addition salts. It has been found that the present compounds of formula I are modulators for amyloid beta and thus, they may be useful for the treatment or prevention of a disease associated with the deposition of .beta.-amyloid in the brain, in particular Alzheimer's disease.

L'invention porte sur des composés de formule (I) : l'hétaryle I étant de formule (II); l'hétaryle II étant de formule (III); ou sur des sels actifs, du point de vue pharmaceutique, d'addition avec les acides. Il a été trouvé que les présents composés de la formule I sont des modulateurs pour l'amyloïde bêta et qu'ainsi, ils peuvent être utiles pour le traitement ou la prévention d'une maladie associée au dépôt de l'amyloïde bêta dans le cerveau, en particulier de la maladie d'Alzheimer.
