This invention relates to a group of substituted pteridine derivatives, their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, N-oxides, solvates, dihydro- and tetrahydro- derivatives and enantiomers, possessing unexpectedly desirable pharmaceutical properties, in particular which are highly active immunosuppressive agents, and as such are useful in the treatment in transplant rejection and/or in the treatment of certain inflammatory diseases. These derivatives are also useful in preventing or treating cardiovascular disorders, allergic conditions, disorders of the central nervous system, TNF-.alpha. related disorders, viral diseases and cell proliferative disorders.

L'invention concerne un groupe de dérivés de ptéridine substitués par des hétérocycles, leurs sels pharmaceutiques acceptables, N-oxydes, solvates, dihydrodérivés, tétrahydrodérivés, et énantiomères, qui possèdent des propriétés pharmaceutiques désirables inattendues, constituent en particulier des agents immunosuppresseurs extrêmement actifs, et sont utiles en tant que tels pour le traitement de rejets de greffons et/ou de certaines maladies inflammatoires. Ces dérivés sont également utiles pour la prévention ou le traitement de troubles cardio-vasculaires, d'états allergiques, de troubles du système nerveux central, de troubles liés au TNF-.alpha., de maladies virales et de troubles liés à une prolifération cellulaire.
