ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A heterocyclic compound represented by formula (I): Image (I) wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group which may be substituted with one or more substituents selected from the group consisting of a halogen atom, an alkoxy group, an alkyl group and a trihalogenomethyl group; ? represents 0 or 1; ring A represents a 5- to 7-membered heterocyclic ring which may contain one or more hetero atoms selected from the group consisting of a nitrogen atom, an oxygen atom, and a sulfur atom in addition to the nitrogen atom shared with the triazine ring or triazole ring, and which may contain one or more double bonds; Y represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkylene group having from 1 to 15 carbon atoms; and Q represents a group represented by formula (II): (II) Image wherein R2 represents a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group, an alkyl group or an aryl group which may be substituted with one or more substituents selected from the group consisting of a halogen atom, a hydroxyl group, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group and a trihalogenomethyl group; and R3, R4 and R5, which may be the same or different, each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an alicyclic heterocyclic group or a trihalogenomethyl group, or a group represented by formula (III): Image (III) wherein Ar1 and Ar2, which may be the same or different, each represents an aryl group or an aromatic heterocyclic group, each of which may be substituted with one to three substituents selected from the group consisting of a halogen atom, a hydroxyl group, an alkoxy group, an alkyl group and a trihalogenomethyl group, and salts thereof, and intermediates therefor are disclosed. The compound of formula (I) and salts thereof exhibit selective serotonin 2-receptor antagonistic activity and are useful for the prevention or treatment of circulatory diseases, e.g., ischemic heart diseases, cerebral vessel disturbances, and peripheral circulation disturbances.
