Heterocyclic compounds represented by the following general formula which have inhibitory effects on AP-1 activity, NF-Kappa B activity, inflammatory cytokine production, matrix metalloprotease production, inflammatory cell adhesion factor expression, etc. and are usable as drugs: R1-C(=O)-N(R2)-A-X-B- N(R3)-Y-(CH2)n-R4 wherein R1 represents cycloalkyl or cycloalkenyl; R2 and R3 represent each hydrogen or alkyl; R4 represents alkyl, a heterocycle, etc.; n is an integer of from 0 to 6; A represents a heterocycle; B represents an aromatic ring or a heterocycle; and X and Y represent each a bond or a linking group.

Ces composés hétérocycliques ont un action inhibitrice de l'activité d'AP-1 et de NF-~ B, de la production de cytokine inflammatoire, de la production de la métalloprotéase dégradant la matrice, de l'expression du facteur d'adhésion cellulaire inflammatoire, etc. et sont utilisables comme médicaments.
