Heterocyclyclcarbonyl substituted benzofuranyl-ureas are prepared by reacting heterocyclylcarbonyl substituted 3-amino-benzofuranes with appropriate iso- cyanates or isothiocyanates. The unsubstituted ureas are transferred into substituted ureas by usual methods of substitution. The heterocyclylcarbonyl substituted benzofuranyl-ureas are useful as active ingredients in medicaments particularly for the treatment of acute and chronical inflammatory processes.
