A process for producing an oxirane compound, characterized by treating with hydrogen peroxide either in the presence of an olefin oxidation catalyst prepared from an organic compound or polymer represented by the following formula (1): a tungstic acid compound, phosphoric acid, hydrogen peroxide, and a quaternary ammonium salt represented by the following formula (2) or (3): or in the presence of an olefin oxidation catalyst prepared from an organic compound or polymer represented by the formula (1), a tungsten compound, and a quaternary ammonium salt represented by the formula (2) or (3). The production process is useful especially industrially.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'un composé d'oxirane consistant à réaliser un traitement avec du peroxyde d'hydrogène en présence d'un catalyseur d'oxydation d'oléfines préparé à partir d'un composé organique ou d'un polymère représenté par la formule générale (1), d'un composé d'acide tungstique, d'acide phosphorique, de peroxyde d'hydrogène et d'un sel d'ammonium quaternaire représenté par la formule générale (2) ou (3), ou en présence d'un catalyseur d'oxydation d'oléfines préparé à partir d'un composé organique ou d'un polymère représenté par la formule (1), d'un composé de tungstène et d'un sel d'ammonium quaternaire représenté par la formule (2) ou (3). Ce procédé de production est particulièrement utile du point de vue industriel.
