The present invention relates to a heterogeneous immunoassay which is characterised in that it contains a partner with a strong binding reaction, the partner being irreversibly immobilised on a solid carrier and the carrier being adapted to be exposed to a flowing buffer current in such a way that the unlabelled, bound counterpart which is to be determined, after being washed with a suitable buffer if necessary, is eluted and measured with a detector; and the use thereof.
