Urethane-filled, polyether polyols are prepared by reacting (1) a hexamethylene diisocyanate residue from the phosgenation of hexamethylene diamine with contains less than 10% by weight monomeric hexamethylene diisocyanate and has a total isocyanate group content of at least 25% with (2) an alcohol containing at least four ether linkages in amounts such that the equivalent ratio of isocyanate groups in (1) to hydroxyl groups in (2) is from about 0.9:1.0 to about 1.0:0.9 and subsequently dissolving this reaction product in a polyether polyol.

On prépare des polyols de polyéther contenant un uréthane en faisant réagir (1) un résidu d'hexaméthylène-diisocyanate obtenu par phosgénation de l'hexaméthylène-diamine contenant moins de 10 % en poids d'hexaméthylène-diisocyanate monomérique et présentant une teneur totale en groupes isocyanate d'au moins 25 % avec (2) un alcool contenant au moins quatre liaisons éther, en quantités telles que le rapport équivalent groupes isocyanate dans (1)/groupes hydroxyle dans (2) est compris entre environ 0,9/1,0 et environ 1,0/0,9, puis en dissolvant ce produit de réaction dans un polyol de polyéther.
