A hidden image game piece (1) and a method by which a hidden image game piece is produced. A first pattern of colored ink (30) is deposited on a transparent or highly translucent substrate at 110180 density, forming the image which is to be hidden. Then a second pattern of colored ink (20), of a different color than the first pattern's ink, is deposited upon the substrate on top of the first pattern, at 90170 density. When the game piece is flooded with additive light of the same color as the second pattern's ink, the previously concealed image, composed of the pattern's ink, becomes perceptible. Because a transparent of highly translucent substrate is used for the game piece, and because the density of the ink application is controlled within specific ranges, this game piece is used with a computer monitor, or with other low- intensity sources of additive light.
L'invention concerne une pièce de jeu (1) à image cachée ainsi qu'un procédé permettant de produire une telle pièce et comprenant les étapes suivantes consistant: à déposer un premier motif d'encre colorée (30) sur un substrat transparent ou fortement translucide selon une densité de l'ordre de 110 à 180, à former l'image à cacher, puis à déposer, sur le substrat, au-dessus du premier motif, un second motif d'encre colorée (20), d'une couleur différente de celle du premier motif, selon une densité de l'ordre de 90 à 170. Lorsque la pièce de jeu est baignée de lumière additionnelle de la même couleur que celle de l'encre du second motif, l'image cachée précédemment et composée du premier motif devient perceptible. Etant donné que l'on utilise un substrat transparent ou fortement translucide pour la pièce de jeu, et que l'on règle la densité d'application de l'encre, en la maintenant dans des limites spécifiques, on peut utiliser cette pièce de jeu avec un écran d'ordinateur ou avec d'autres sources de lumière additionnelle, basse intensité.
