Process for making a detergent composition having at least 40 % by weight of surfactant and a bulk density of at least 650 g/l, the process comprising the single step of high shear mixing until granular at a temperature from ambient to 60 °C, a binder component comprising said surfactant and less than 20 % water, with a particulate solid component, of initial particle size from 0.1 to about 500 microns, said particulate solid component having at least about 15 % by weight of particles with a particle size of at least about 50 microns and a sufficient amount of smaller particles so that the average surface area of the particulate component is at least about 9 m2/g as measured by the BET method, and wherein the binder maintains the mixture in a particulate state throughout the process.
Procédé de fabrication d'une composition détergente possédant au moins 40 % en poids de tensioactif ainsi qu'une masse volumique en vrac d'au moins 650 g/l, ce procédé comportant une seule étape consistant à mélanger par cisaillement intime jusqu'à l'obtention d'une forme granulaire, à une température comprise entre la température ambiante et 60 DEG C, un liant comprenant ledit tensioactif ainsi que moins de 20 % d'eau, avec un constituant solide particulaire dont la taille de particule initiale est de l'ordre de 0,1 à environ 500 microns; ce constituant particulaire comprend au moins 15 % environ en poids de particules possédant une taille d'au moins 50 microns environ ainsi qu'une quantité suffisante de particules plus petites, de manière que la surface active moyenne dudit constituant soit d'au moins 9 m<2>/g environ lorsqu'elle est mesurée selon la méthode BET, et le liant maintient le mélange dans un état particulaire tout au long du procédé.
