62301-1564 ABSTRACT An aqueous thixotropic liquid composition comprising water, a clay thixotropic agent, an amount of a metal salt of at least one long chain fatty acid effective to increase the physical stability of the composition, organic detergent, chlorine bleach and detergent builder, said composition containing alkali metal and alkaline earth metal components in amount sufficient to provide a pH of at least 11.2 when about 10 grams of the composition is added to one liter of water.
