ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A conical drum with lid made of thermoplastic material is disclosed. In order to avoid stepped variations in diameter or hollow borders that form stack-up edges on the outside of the drum, a second jolted outer flange is formed on the outer wall of the drum, in its topmost third. Appropriately, the conical wall of the drum extends linearly in a straight line over the whole periphery and in the longitudinal direction of the drum from the top first outer flange down the proximity of the bottom of the drum. A third jolted outer flange that forms a rolled bottom ring can be provided in the transition area between the wall and the lower bottom of the drum.
