Alloyed steel with high carbon content characterized in that its composition complies with the following composition, expressed in percentage weigh carbon from 1.1 to 2.0 %, manganese from 0.5 to 3.5%, chrome from 1.0 to 4.0%, silicon from 0.6 to 1.2 %, the remainder being iron with the usual impurity content, such that it provides a metallographic structure mainly of non-equilibrium fine pearlite and that its hardness is between 47 Rc and 54 Rc.

Acier allié à forte teneur en carbone, caractérisé en ce qu'il est composé de 1,1 à 2,0 % en poids de carbone, de 0,5 à 3,5 % en poids de manganèse, de 1,0 à 4,0 % en poids de chrome et de 0,6 à 1,2 % en poids de silicium, le solde étant du fer et les impuretés habituelles, de sorte que ledit acier constitue une structure métallographique principalement en perlite fine non équilibrée et que sa dureté est comprise entre 47 Rc et 54 Rc.
