HIGH CURRENT INDUCTOR WINDING ARRANGEMENT ABSTRACT A winding arrangement for an inductor capable of handling high currents. Two piece solid metal conductor sections are placed opposite of each other and around the legs of a rectangular core. These conductor sections are then held in place by a fixture while they are soldered to each other and to the adjacent conductor section. When soldered, these conductor sections form a helical winding.
