A reliable and rapid method to identify differentially expressed genes in microbes has been developed. The method relies on the use of a large number of arbitrarily primed PCR reactions. The method has been used to identify the DNA sequences of genes involved in the degradation of the picric acid from Rhodococcus erythropolis strain HL PM-1, and genes involved in cyclohexanol degradation from a consortium of organisms.
L'invention concerne un procédé fiable et rapide permettant d'identifier les gènes exprimés de manière différentielle dans les microbes. Ce procédé repose sur l'utilisation d'un grand nombre de réactions de PCR à sensibilisation arbitraire. On a utilisé ce procédé pour identifier les séquences d'ADN des gènes impliqués dans la dégradation de l'acide picrique dans la souche HL PM-1 de Rhodococcus erythropolis, et les gènes impliqués dans la dégradation du cyclohexanol dans un consortium d'organismes.
