HIGH DEPOSITION RATE SPRAY TORCH Abstract of Disclosure A dual feed flame spray system is provided com- prising a torch body having a primary tip section integral with and disposed forward thereof with a primary nozzle at the end of said tip section and a gas injection-assembly integral with and disposed rearward of said torch body, said torch body also having a powder injection section coupled thereto for feeding and entraining powder within burning gases discharged from said torch through said primary noz- zle. An auxiliary tip section is coupled to the primary tip section of the torch body and extends longitudinally of the primary tip section, the auxiliary tip section hav- ing an auxiliary nozzle at the end thereof extending to and overhanging the primary nozzle through which additional spray powder is externally injected via a carrier gas to augment the flow of flame spray powder discharged from said primary nozzle.
