A belt suitable in a brownstock washer machine and a method of producing the same are provided. The belt is produced from a high-density multi-layer woven fabric, which is preferably made using an eight-shed weave pattern. The fabric provides high fiber support via a high warp-density/long-warp-float while achieving high drainage/resistance-to-sealing through increased void volume.

L'invention concerne une courroie appropriée à un laveur de pâte brune et son procédé de production. La courroie est fabriquée à partir d'un tissé multicouches à densité élevée qui est, de préférence, élaboré au moyen d'un motif d'armure à huit foules.
