HIGH EFFICIENCY SOLAR COLLECTOR Abstract of the Disclosure A novel type of solar collector apparatus is disclosed which comprised a generally planar, horizontally extending absorber having a radiation-accepting aperture in the lower surface thereof, and a duct extending there- through for receiving a heat transfer fluid. A non-steered reflector is disposed directly beneath the absorber, the reflector exhibiting a cross-sectional configuration of a parabolic cylindrical nature.
