The invention relates to a method for producing a portable card-shaped data carrier (10) with a high embossing (65). It comprises the steps of supplying a planar circuit carrier (30), integrating the circuit carrier (30) in a card-shaped data carrier body (20) of the data carrier (10) and high embossing the data carrier body (20). Therein in at least one surface area (40) of the circuit carrier (30) at least one through opening (52; 54; 56) is produced and the data carrier body (20) is high embossed in an embossing area (60) overlapping with the at least one surface area (40) of the circuit carrier (30). In this fashion an easy high embossing of a corresponding data carrier (10) is rendered possible.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un support de données portable (10) en forme de carte doté d'un gaufrage (65) accusé. Le procédé comprend les étapes qui consistent à préparer un porte-circuit plat (30), à intégrer le porte-circuit (30) dans un corps (20) de support de données en forme de carte du support de données (10) et à gaufrer fortement le corps (20) de support de données.
