The present invention relates to a nutritional composition which is liquid and shelf-stable or powdered and reconstitutable. The composition has a fiber content of more than 2.5 g/ fibber per 100 ml of the composition. Furthermore, it has an energy content of 1.3-1.8 kcal/ ml. The composition is useful to improve and maintain gut comfort, restoring a well-balanced gut flora, especially in an elderly patient prone to malnutrition. The invention further relates to a process for preparing the nutritional composition.
L'invention concerne une composition nutritionnelle se présentant sous forme de liquide de longue conservation, ou sous forme de poudre reconstituable. Cette composition présente une teneur en fibres supérieure à 2,5 g/ fibres par 100 ml de la composition. En outre, cette composition présente une teneur énergétique comprise entre 1,3 et 1,8 kcal/ ml. Cette composition est utile pour améliorer et pour maintenir un bien-être intestinal, pour restaurer l'équilibre de la flore intestinale, en particulier chez un patient âgé, présentant prédisposition à la malnutrition. L'invention concerne également un procédé pour préparer cette composition nutritionnelle.
