ABSTRACT A high frequency off-line power transformer comprises a U-shaped planar current carrying conductor inserted into a first and a second insulation casing; an insulator sheet placed between any two of the planar current carrying conductors that are isolated by the overlapping first and second insulation casings; a magnetic core lined with a core isolating body and encircling the planar current carrying conductors, the first and second insulation casings, the insulator sheet and the core isolating body; an interconnecting unit that is physically and electrically connected to the current carrying conductors to provide series and parallel connections of said conductors; and means for connection to an electrical circuit.
