ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Improved polyamide impact resistance is obtained by blending, into the polyamide melt, minor proportions of both (1) a copolymer of a C2 to C5 .alpha.-olefin and a minor proportion in the copolymer of units of a C3 to C8 unsaturated carboxylic acid compound and (2) a copolymer of a C2 to C5 .alpha.-olefin with a minor proportion in the copolymer of units of a C1 - C4 alkyl ester of such acid. The Izod impact resistance may be further enhanced by use of various metal compounds such as antimony oxide.
