A Pichia yeast, which has been transformed by an expression vector containing an MK family protein gene ligated to an .alpha.1 factor signal sequence originating in Saccharomyces cerevisiae under the regulation of a methanol- inducible alcohol oxidase gene (AOX1) promoter originating in Pichia pastoris and a transcription termination factor, is cultured and a true MK family protein is thus secreted and expressed on a mass scale in the culture supernatant.
L'invention concerne la mise en culture d'une levure de Pichia, transformée par un vecteur d'expression contenant un gène d'une protéine de la famille MK lié à une séquence-signal du facteur .alpha.1 provenant de Saccharomyces cerevisiae, sous le contrôle d'un promoteur du gène d'oxydase d'alcool inductible par méthanol (AOX1) provenant de Pichia pastoris et d'un facteur de terminaison de transcription. Des protéines pures de la famille MK sont ainsi sécrétées et exprimées en grande quantité dans le surnageant de la culture.
