Disclosed is an absorbent structure having wet in-tegrity higher than about 4.0 kN/gsm, softness higher than 8.0/J, pliability higher than about 70/N, and providing a sub-stantially dry liquid-accepting surface after receiving a quan-tity of liquid. The structure includes an upper ply (82) having an upper fluid receiving surface and a lower surface and in-cluding (i) a top stratum (6) including synthetic matrix fibers bonded with a binder, the matrix fibers having a length from about 2 to about 15 mm; (ii) a middle stratum (8) in fluid communication with the top stratum (6), the middle stratum (8) including natural fibers, superabsorbent particles and a binder; and (iii) a bottom stratum (10) in fluid communi-cation with the middle stratum (8), the bottom stratum (10) including natural fibers and a binder. The structure also in-cludes a lower ply (4) in fluid communication with the upper ply (2), the lower ply (4) having an upper surface and a lower surface and including at least one stratum (13) including nat-ural fibers, superabsorbent polymer particles, and a binder, wherein the lower surface of the upper ply (2) has a surface area less than about 80 % of the upper surface area of the lower ply (4).
La présente invention concerne une structure absorbante présentant une intégrité à l'état humide supérieure à environ 4.0 kN/gsm, une mollesse supérieure à 8.0/J, une flexibilité supérieure à environ 70/N, et permet d'obtenir une surface sensiblement sèche après réception d'une quantité de liquide. Cette structure comprend un pli supérieur (2) possédant une surface supérieure réceptrice de liquide et une surface inférieure et comprenant (i) une couche supérieure (6) constituée d'une matrice fibreuse synthétique dont les fibres, maintenues à l'aide d'un liant, présentent des longueurs comprises entre environ 2 et environ 15 mm; (ii) une couche milieu (8) en communication de fluide avec la couche supérieure (6), cette couche (8) étant constituée de fibres naturelles, de particules superabsorbantes et d'un liant, et (iii) une couche inférieure (10) en communication de fluide avec la couche du milieu (8), et comprenant des fibres naturelles et un liant. La structure comprend aussi un pli inférieur (4) en communication de fluide avec le pli supérieur (2), ce pli inférieur (4) présentant une surface supérieure, une surface inférieure et comprenant au moins une couche (13) constituée de fibres naturelles, de particules de polymère superabsorbant, et d'un liant. L'aire de la surface inférieure du pli supérieur (2) est inférieure d'environ 80 % à l'aire de la surface supérieure du pli inférieur (4).
