Geotechnical article, and process for making it, the article having coefficient of thermal expansion less than about 150 ppm/~C at ambient; resistance to acidic media greater than polyamide 6 resin and/or resistance to basic media greater than PET resin; resistance to hydrocarbons greater than that of HDPE; creep modulus of at least 400 MPa at 25~C, at 20% of yield stress load for 60 minutes (ISO 899-1); and 1 percent secant flexural modulus at least 700 MPa at 25~C (ASTM D790); the article including a composition including (a) from about 1 to about 95% by weight of the composition of at least one functional group containing polymer or oligomer; and (b) from about 5 to about 99% by weight of the composition of at least one engineering thermoplastic, and optionally containing a filler and optionally containing an unmodified polyolefin, ethylene copolymer or ethylene terpolymer.

L'invention concerne un article géotechnique et son procédé de fabrication, l'article ayant un coefficient de dilatation thermique inférieur à environ 150 ppm/°C à température ambiante; une résistance au milieu acide supérieure à la résine de polyamide 6 et/ou à des milieux basiques supérieure à la résine de PET; une résistance aux hydrocarbures supérieure à celle de HDPE; un module de fluage d'au moins 400 MPa à 25°C, à 20% de limite apparente d'élasticité en charge pendant 60 minutes (ISO 899/1); et un module d'élasticité en flexion sécant à 1 % à au moins 700 MPa à 25°C (ASTM D790); l'article comprenant une composition comportant (a) environ 1 et à environ 95% en poids de la composition d'au moins un groupe fonctionnel contenant un polymère ou un oligomère; (b) environ 5 à environ 99% en poids de la composition d'au moins un thermoplastique technique, et contenant éventuellement une charge et une polyoléfine non modifiée, un copolymère éthylène ou un terpolymère éthylène.
