A substantially zinc and phosphorous free lubricating oil meeting engine performance requirements contain an additive system containing metal detergents, at least one borated ashless dispersant, at least an amine antioxidant and a trinuclear molybdenum compound. The lubricant contains a minimum of (120) ppm boron and a minimum of (80) ppm molybdenum.

L'invention concerne une huile lubrifiante sensiblement sans zinc ni phosphore satisfaisant aux exigences de performance de moteur, qui contient un système d'additif renfermant des détergents métalliques, au moins un dispersant sans cendre boraté, au moins un antioxydant aminé et un composé de molybdène trinucléaire. Ledit lubrifiant contient au minimum 120 ppm de bore et au minimum 80 ppm de molybdène.
