A support (22, 48) for an article of electronic equipement, such as a personal computer (32) includes plural bolsters (10, 12, 14) pressurized with a gas, and which provide pneumatic springs in surrounding relation with side edges of the article, the bolsters being comprised of an inflatable bladder and a constraining non-expansible sleeve which acts as a corset for the bladder and permits inflation of the bladder to a pressure in excess of that which would cause ballooning of said bladder.

Ledit support comporte plusieurs éléments d'appui (10, 12, 14) remplis d'un gaz sous pression et formant des amortisseurs pneumatiques qui entourent les bords latéraux dudit article, les éléments d'appui étant constitués d'une vessie gonflable et d'un manchon de confinement non extensible qui agit comme un corset pour la vessie et permet le gonflage de celle-ci à une pression supérieure à celle qui normalement entraînerait le "ballonnement" de ladite vessie.
