ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A dual intake port rotary centrifugal portable pump with a special sealing ring provided to increase output pressure and efficiency. The pump includes a housing having axially opposed intake ports, an impeller means within the housing carried by a shaft extending externally of the intake ports and supported by shaft bearings disposed outwardly of the intake ports. Annular flanges are provided on the housing surrounding both intake ports. Annular flanges are also provided on both sides of the impeller with these flanges being concentric with and overlapping the annular flanges provided on the housing. A two-piece seal is provided on each side of the casing. One piece of the seal is adjustably mounted on the annular flange which is attached to the housing while the other piece of the seal is adjustably attached to the annular flange mounted upon the impeller.
