A cost effective method for revamping a low pressure distillate hydrotreating process unit to a high pressure distil-late hydrotreating process unit. A high pressure hot- feed pump is added, the furnace is retubed for higher pressures, the low pres-sure reactor is replaced with a high pressure reactor, a high pressure let-down valve is added at the reactor outlet, and the low pressure recycle compressor is replaced with a high pressure recycle compressor.
Procédé rentable de transformation d'unités d'hydrotraitement de distillats basse pression en unités d'hydrotraitement de distillats haute pression. La transformation consiste : à ajouter une pompe d'alimentation chaude haute pression; à remplacer les tubes de chaudière en vue de l'utilisation de pressions plus fortes; à remplacer le réacteur basse pression par un réacteur haute pression; à ajouter une soupape de détente haute pression en sortie de réacteur; et à remplacer le compresseur de recyclage basse pression par un compresseur de recyclage haute pression.
