-7- ABSTRACT : "High pressure sodium lamp with metal clip for electrode and end plug support". The invention relates to a high pressure sodium discharge lamp having an arc tube (34) provided with an end plug (22) having an aperture through which a lead wire (20) extends to an electrode (12). A refractory plug at three separate points forming three suspension points on the wall of the arc tube. By this construction the electrode (12) centres itself when positioned in the arc tube (34). - Figure 2.
