Description

A wellhead cap assembly (10) includes a high security barrier (16) for installation onto a wellhead (12) for containing any leakage safely and for permitting the installation of a subsea xmas tree onto the wellhead (12) whilst, simultaneously, providing means for containing full pressure control during recitification of the leak. The barrier (16) is provided by an internal tree cap which allows pressure between the top of the tubing hanger (34) and the underside of the tree cap (16) to be monitored by pressure monitoring means (20) via a port (29) in the assembly (10) and, in addition, in the event the presence of well bore fluids is detected indicating that leakage has occurred, the cap assembly allows intervention in order to rectify the leakage.

La présente invention, qui concerne un ensemble cloche (10) pour tête de puits, comporte une barrière de sécurité (16) destinée au montage sur la tête de puits (12) de façon à endiguer avec certitude toute fuite et de façon à permettre le montage d'un arbre de Noël sous-marin sur la tête de puits (12), la cloche se comportant, simultanément, de façon à maîtriser la pression totale pendant les opérations d'aveuglement de la fuite. La barrière (16) est réalisée sous forme d'une cloche d'arbre de production permettant de surveiller la pression entre le sommet de suspension des tubes de production (34) et le dessous de la cloche d'arbre de production (16), la surveillance s'effectuant au moyen d'organes de surveillance (20) via un orifice (29) ménagé dans l'ensemble (10). En outre, en cas de détection de présence de fluide de forage de puits signalant qu'il s'est produit une fuite, l'ensemble cloche permet une intervention destinée à aveugler la fuite.
