Disclosed is a storage shelf (10) comprising a plurality of superimposed support beams (12) for supporting stored material supports (13) which can be conveyed by means of an automatic feeding and removing device (15), at least one opening (20) for feeding and removing the stored material supports (13), and a computer (17) in which data on the stored material (14) is stored. At least one digital camera (16) is provided which detects the stored material (14) accommodated in the stored material supports (13). The digital image data is stored in the computer (17) and can be displayed with the aid of a display device (18, 21). The inventive storage shelf (10) additionally comprises a pointing device (22, 23) which is associated with the display device (18, 21) and makes it possible to select, based on the digital image data, stored material (14) that is to be removed.
