Abstract of the Disclosure The rise times of high resiliency polyurethane foams are signifi- cantly reduced using a specified class of diorganotin compounds as the gel catalyst. The organotin catalysts are derivatives of half esters of dicar- boxylic acids. A preferred catalyst is dibutyltin bis(isooctyl maleate). Tho present catalysts can be employed at higher concentrations than conven- tional tin-containing catalysts without causing shrinkage of the foam.
