L'invention a pour objet une tôle d'acier laminée à chaud à haute resistance et haute emboutissabilité, caractérisée en ce que sa composition, exprimée en pourcentages pondéraux, est: - C 0,12%; - 0,5 Mn 1,5 %; - 0 Si 0,3 %; - 0 P 0,1 %; - 0 S 0,05%; - 0,01 Al 0,1 %; - 0 Cr 1 %; - 0,03 Tieff 0,15 %, Tieff étant la teneur en titane non sous forme de nitrures, de sulfures ou d'oxydes; - 0 Nb 0,05%; et en ce que sa structure comprend au moins 75 % de ferrite durcie par précipitation de carbures ou de carbonitrures de Ti ou de Ti et de Nb, le reste de la structure comprenant au moins 10 % de martensite et éventuellement de la bainite et de l'austénite résiduelle. L'invention a également pour objets des procédés de fabrication de telles tôles.
