ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A high resolution developed color film in which the usual color image is given increased sharpness and resolution by the provision of a metallic silver image inter- dispersed with and proportional in amount to the color present in the top emulsion layer. The portions not containing color are tanned, and the combination of the silver color top layer with the tanned uncolored portions provides a high degree of resolution. The developed color film is useful in aerial photography, microfilm and microfiche applications.
