ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Alkaline-curing, starch-based corrugating adhesives employing ungelatinized tapioca starch and a carrier compris- ing high amylose starch, wherein the total solids of the adhe- sive is from 30 to 45% solids by weight, are disclosed. Said adhesives provide improved tack and corrugator runing speeds.
