A reduced-size coin sorter (10) for sorting coins of mixed diameters is set forth. The sorter (10) includes a coin-driving member (16) and coin-guiding member (14). The lower surface of the coin-guiding member (14) forms a plurality of exit channels (161-168) for guiding coins of different diameters to different exit stations along the periphery of the coin-guiding member (14). The coin sorter (10) includes an integral base member (30) which concentrically and circumferentially mounts both the rotatable disc (16) and the sorting head (14). The unitary base member (30) also provides as the mounting structure for the electronics and the motor (24).

La présente invention se rapporte à une trieuse (10) compteuse de monnaie de dimension réduite permettant de trier des pièces de différents diamètres. La trieuse (10) comporte un organe d'entraînement de pièces (16) et un organe de guidage de pièces (14). La face inférieure de l'organe de guidage de pièces (14) constitue une pluralité de canaux de sortie (161-168) permettant de diriger les pièces de différents diamètres vers des différents postes de sortie se trouvant autour de la périphérie de l'organe de guidage de pièces (14). La trieuse (10) comporte en outre un élément de base intégré (30) qui fixe de manière concentrique et en circonférence simultanément le disque rotatif (16) et la tête de triage (14). L'élément de base intégré (30) sert également de structure de montage pour l'électronique et le moteur.
