ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to a high-speed drying and fixing installation, in which a circulating agent is applied to material to be treated by means of blowers in a heated area. In accord- ance with the invention, the blowers deliver a large volume of air at high pressure. Preferably, blowers are transverse-flow blowers having a jet-outlet velocity, in the installation, of 40 m/sec, at a pressure of 100 mm of water at 20°C, and an air temperature of up to 250°C.
