The invention pertains to a plant to produce hot-rolled steel strip from a band of continuous cast input stock in a sequence of process steps, characterized by a continuous casting plant with a continuous casting and rolling unit with a casting speed of 4-8 m/min and a solidification thickness of 90-125 mm, using an oscillating continuous casting die with concavity between cast level and die outlet and/or a casting guide with concavity and/or with centering and guide elements in the continuous casting stand in the region of their narrow sides for purposes of guiding and centering the slab. A cooling and insulating section is provided between continuous casting plant and soaking furnace for the input stock strip and a crossover furnace of about 45 m in length and about 5 to 20 m in width, downstream of the continuous casting plant and upstream of the blooming mill.
L'invention concerne une unité permettant de produire des feuillards d'acier laminés à chaud à partir d'un matériau brut obtenu par coulée continue sous forme de bande. Cette unité comprend une unité de coulée continue de matériau brut, comportant un système de laminage après coulée, avec une vitesse de coulée de 4 à 8 m/mn et une épaisseur de solidification comprise entre 90 et 125 mm, à l'aide d'un moule de coulée continue oscillant dont la concavité se situe entre le niveau de coulée et la sortie du moule et/ou d'un système de guidage de coulée à concavité et/ou des éléments de centrage et de guidage situés dans le bâti du système de guidage de coulée dans la zone de leurs petits côtés, servant à guider et à centrer les brames. L'unité comprend également une section de refroidissement et d'isolation pour le matériau brut sous forme de bande, prévue entre l'unité de coulée continue et un four d'égalisation, ainsi qu'un four à transport transversal d'environ 45 m de long et d'environ 5 à 20 m de large, monté en aval de l'unité de coulée continue et en amont du train dégrossisseur.
