A method and machine for high speed formation of a three-dimensional woven fiber structure (10) having at least two warp yarn systems (12,14, 16) having approximately zero crimp, wherein the warp (12) and filling yarns (16) are non- interlacing with each other, and are secured as an integral fabric via at least one vertical or Z yarn system (12) and the warp yarn systems (12) provided to be positioned by harness frames (W1,W2,W3,W4). The 3-D woven fabric of the present invention is fabricated on a 3-D weaving machine having rapier filling insertion that provides filling yarns insertions in unique shed openings (22) in series to produce a complete filling insertion cycle for every movement of Z-direction yarn harnesses (Z1,Z2).

L'invention concerne un procédé et une machine permettant la formation à grande vitesse d'une structure tridimensionnelle de fibres tissées (10) comportant au moins deux systèmes de fils (12, 14, 16) présentant une ondulation quasi nulle. Les fils de chaîne (12) et de trame (16) sont non entrelacés les uns avec les autres et sont assemblés de façon à former un tissu solidaire par l'intermédiaire d'au moins un système de fils verticaux ou disposés dans le sens Z (14) et les systèmes de fils de chaîne (12) sont positionnés par des cadres de lisses (W1, W2, W3, W4). Le tissu tridimensionnel de la présente invention est fabriqué sur une machine à tisser tridimensionnelle comprenant une insertion de trame par lances permettant d'obtenir des insertions de fils de trame dans des ouvertures de pas uniques (22) en série de façon à produire un cycle complet d'insertion de trame pour chaque mouvement des cadres de lisses pour les fils dans le sens Z (Z1, Z2).
