Abstract of the Disclosure High-strength conductors for use in electronic instruments involving frequent movements, such as robots. They comprise a core layer of stainless steel and a covering layer of copper, aluminum or their alloy. High strength is ensured by the addition of stainless steel as a core. A stainless steel wire having a specific diameter and a specific strength are employed and the percentage of sectional area of the covering layer to the total sectional area is specified.
