The present invention provides for the production of high strength spunbond fabric from lower melt flow (4-12) polypropylene than heretofore used. The present invention also combines this low melt flow polypropylene with a larger spinneret opening and greater draw down ratio to provide stronger fabric at a given basis weight than conventional spunbond processes produce.

L'invention concerne la production de textile non tissé filé-lié très résistant à partir de polypropylène (4-12) à taux de fluage inférieur à celui utilisé jusqu'à présent. L'invention associe ce polypropylène à faible taux de fluage avec une ouverture de filière et un rapport de striction supérieurs afin de produire un textile plus résistant à une masse surfacique donnée que ceux produits par les procédés conventionnels de production de textile filé-lié.
