L'invention se rapporte à un matériau à haute ténacité à base d'une résine vinylester et/ou d'une résine époxyde et à son procédé de fabrication. Ce matériau comprend au moins une résine polymérisée choisie parmi les résines vinylesters et les résines époxydes polymérisables à une température inférieure à 70°C et leurs mélanges, ainsi qu'un adjuvant thermoplastique présent dans cette résine sous la forme de particules, et présente une ténacité (K Ic) supérieure ou égale à 1,2 MPa.m 1/2 tel que déterminée selon la norme ISO 13586:2000. Elle se rapporte également à un matériau composite comprenant une matrice constituée dudit matériau et un renfort. Applications: industries automobile, ferroviaire, navale, aéronautique, aérospatiale et autres.
