Disclosed herein are methods for enabling or improving functional assays of G- protein coupled receptors through the use of co-expression of helper genes. In some cases, chimeras linking the regulatory domain of the rap1B protein to the effector region of the ras oncogene are used in conjuction with existing functional assays for cellular proliferation. Furthermore, overexpression of other genes can further augment the enabling properties of ras/rap chimeras.
La présente invention concerne des procédés permettant ou améliorant les dosages fonctionnels des récepteurs couplés à la protéine G, grâce à l'utilisation de la coexpression de gènes assistants. Dans certains cas, on utilise les chimères liant à la région effectrice de l'oncogène ras le domaine régulateur de la protéine rap1B en liaison avec des dosages fonctionnels existants de prolifération cellulaire. En outre, la surexpression d'autres gènes peut encore augmenter les propriétés validantes des chimères ras/rap.
