The invention concerns a high voltage circuit breaker comprising, in series, at least a limiter fuse element and at least an expulsion fuse element (9) including an electrically conductive wire (7) sheathed in an electrically insulating sleeve (8). The space (E) forming a specific clearance between said wire (7) outer surface (7b) and said sleeve (8) inner surface (8b) is filled with an electrically insulating fluid (20). The electrically insulating fluid enables to reduce, even cancel, the risks of blow-out between the conductor wire(7) and the insulating sleeve (8).

Le coupe-circuit haute tension comporte, en série, au moins un élément fusible limiteur et au moins un élément fusible à expulsion (9) comprenant un fil (7) électriquement conducteur entouré d'une gaine (8) électriquement isolante. L'espace (E) formant jeu défini entre la surface externe (7<u>b</u>) dudit fil (7) et la surface interne (8<u>b</u>) de ladite gaine (8) est garni d'un fluide électriquement isolant (20). Le fluide électriquement isolant permet de diminuer, voire de supprimer, les risques de claquage entre le fil conducteur (7) et la gaine isolante (8).
