This invention relates to a high voltage circuit breaker capable of interrupting alternating fault currents with pseudo-period T and delayed zero crossing, zero crossing after a maximum interval of tzmax-to after the exact time of the fault, this tzmax-to interval being determined by simulation or testing, including a plurality of interrupter chambers (1) in series provided with means of opening at a moment tl subsequent to the moment of the fault and means of blowing the arc designed to operate between moment tl and a moment tc preceding moment tzmax-T. It includes means of reducing the adapted blow rate so that the blow is prolonged to moment t2 between tzmax-T and tzmax+T.
La présente invention concerne un disjoncteur à haute tension capable de couper des courants de défaut alternatifs de pseudo-période T et à passage par zéro retardé, passant par zéro après un laps de temps maximal tzmax-to après l'instant to d'apparition du défaut, ce laps de temps tzmax-to étant déterminé par simulations ou par essais, comprenant une pluralité de chambres de coupure (1) en série équipées de moyens pour s'ouvrir à un instant tl ultérieur à l'instant du défaut to et de moyens de soufflage de l'arc conçu pour fonctionner entre l'instant t1 et un instant tc antérieur à l'instant tzmax-T. Il comporte des moyens de diminution du débit de soufflage adaptés pour que le soufflage soit prolongé jusqu'à un instant t2 compris entre tzmax-T et tzmax+T.
